	Patricia J. Shuster has been named to the position of Project Manager for MCR Services, Inc. She will report directly to John S. Walko, Senior Project Director. Her responsibilities include managing commercial projects through the on-site Superintendents, working with the building authorities, subcontractors and suppliers and ensuring that commercial customers and developers are kept up to speed with the progress of the work. Pat also will assist with continuing education efforts with The Builders Exchange of Central Ohio.

	Pat, a strong believer in construction education and outreach, has twenty-five years of experience in the construction industry. She is extremely active with the BX, including serving on several boards, is a recipient of the BX President’s Award in 2001, Outreach Speaker of the Year in 2001 and is considered a BX “Ambassador.”

	She has two children and two grandchildren and lives with her husband, John Buchenroth, in Columbus. Her “weekday” passion is also her “weekend” passion; Pat chairs the building committee at her church, All Saints’ Lutheran, in Worthington, Ohio.

	A Strong Proponent of Women in the Construction Industry
	A strong proponent of Women in the construction industry, she has a long tenure at the Builders Exchange teaching the “Layman’s Look at Construction” course, a basic course for many construction newcomers and outsiders, to get a better grounding in industry basics. Pat also serves as an instructor in Blueprint Reading for the Building Owners and Managers Association.

	Swimming, Biking and Skiing
	Her interests also include swimming, biking and skiing (depending on the season). Pat also serves as a professional ski instructor at Mad River Mountain.
