The warehouse & distribution industries are well represented here in Central Ohio.
Our first few jobs were Industrial and this market continues to be a significant part of our Management, Construction and Renovation portfolio. We have completed eighty warehouse & distribution projects, for 35 customers, since our start in 1995.
Although we’ve performed small-scale renovation and construction work for our warehouse & distribution customers, these projects are usually larger ones with significant time and resource commitments. These larger projects are often delivered using the Design-Build approach, and we will work with the Owners from the initial idea to completed development. Some projects are major additions to existing facilities, while others can be “drawing board” developments on unimproved sites.
The large capital investment required with many warehouse & distribution projects means that we can collaborate with the parties for a year or two before any construction occurs. There’s a lot involved in exploring different sites, investigating Value Engineering alternatives and shepherding soils testing and zoning issues before the Owner makes a final decision. Our proven partnerships with architects, engineers, metal building manufacturers and other subtrades—and our contacts with industry leaders—really help add value to this process.
