Infrastructure is the “underpinnings” of all the other markets. Basic infrastructure like roadways, utilities and communications facilities make civilized life possible.
Although not as well represented as our other projects, we have pursued opportunities to perform utility and roadway work and also constructed two cellular towers to date.
Since 1995, MCR Services has completed thirteen projects for this market, which run the gamut from providing sanitary extensions and water lines to helping construct the central utilities facility for Easton Town Center. We have also made improvements to Neil Avenue and Northwest Boulevard and a supervised a runway extension at Port Columbus.
There are three types of Infrastructure:
Utilities
Roadways
Towers
Utilities
Water, Sewer, Natural Gas, Cable and Electric
Zoning and Permit issues are among the challenges in performing this type of work. Unimproved ground needs a lot of site improvements and Utilities in order to prepare it for proper above-ground development.
In some projects, there is as much going on under the ground as on top of it:
Briggsdale Sanitary Extensions
Seoil Waterlines
Parsons Avenue Water Plant
Easton Oval Utility Building
Liberty Road Utility Improvements
Roadways
Road Extensions and Planning to Get You There from Here
We have been involved in heavy roadway work, both in the planning stages and in actual construction.
These are a few of the Roadways projects:
Northwest Broadway Road Improvements
Airport Runway East Extensions
Neil Avenue Improvemets
Towers
Cellular Towers to Fill in the Dead Zones & Help Keep the World Connected
MCR Services worked on two cellular tower projects, one of them in just a Construction Management capacity:
