Mark is a master carpenter and has done some stunning restoration work and brings the same craftsmanship to all the projects he supervises. He can’t stand to be idle at home, either, so there’s usually a special project in the works at the Helms’ household.
MCR Services is known as the “Jack Russell terrier” of the construction industry: smaller, but very dynamic, persistent, willing to tackle just about anything—and able to really maneuver and change directions at a moment’s notice if necessary. Although it is definitely not a hiring prerequisite, several of our team members do own Jack Russells (and do exhibit similar personality traits). On picnics, when we get the crowd together, the terriers come along, too. It is revealing to watch their play “teamwork”— so much like our own day-to-day interactions.
Mark enjoys fly-fishing and restoring muscle cars—and has even been known to “relax” by the lake, on occasion. He and his wife, Tammy, and their Jack Russell terrier, Sparky, enjoy living on Buckeye Lake.
