Michelle lives in the north side of Columbus with her two cats, Coco and Rusti, and assorted “neighborhood critters” (some running around on two legs).
One of her more amazing anecdotes concerns trying to haul a bobcat on a trailer up the side of a mountain during a mudslide (nothing stops cellphone towers from getting built). Fortunately, they only slid backwards a few hundred feet when a friendly neighborhood oak tree decided to “give them a hand.”
Michelle sometimes “trades in” her computer and mechanical pencil for a safety vest and work boots. Her very first day of work at MCR Services was on site at a residential rehab, where she spent the day—in hardhat—assembling cabinetry, finishing woodwork and securing the site.
Michelle loves cooking with friends, listening to music and “taking a long and well-deserved break” from also going to school full-time (Michelle recently graduated with honors from Columbus State Community College).
