Land and real estate development is a dynamic industry—particularly so in Central Ohio. Scott has been fortunate enough to “rub elbows” and work with some notable professionals during his career. Taming runaway budgets and accounting for all the variables involved in these big-ticket developments has helped hone his skills to bring their finances under control. His goal has always been to deliver timely, accurate financial reports to decision makers and keep everyone in the loop so that they can actually make informed decisions.
Scott has worked on some notable projects, including an “Extreme Makeover” house in Whitehall, Ohio, as well as larger developments, like Hampsted Village of New Albany, Upper Albany West in Columbus and Sherbrook in Delaware County.
Scott—amazingly enough—always makes “family time” with wife, Julie, and their two children, Kevin and Megan. They enjoy all sorts family activities and sporting events and Scott frequently coaches. (The Gallaghers have been “adopted” by a golden retriever that rejoices in the name of Lizzie, who is also a frequent participant.) Each year, they head to Killarney, Ontario to Blue Mountain Lodge for an extended—and well-deserved—family vacation.
