We would like to invite you to participate in a friendly, little competition. Face it, the economy has challenged our industries and recovery is slower than any of us expected. With laughter being the best medicine, I have a proposal for your consideration. I can’t think of a better group of professionals to enjoy a little ribbing. Over the next month we are going to develop a humorous e-mail series with industry jokes, stories, and anecdotes to provide some comic relief. To start the process, we would like your help creating characters with names, features, and personalities. As a general contractor, we could not help but start with the architectural community. We have created caricatures and come up with names such as: 1. Willy Drawrite, 2. Johnathon Drawitz, 3. Lyle Littleline, 4. Noah Bubbles. We would appreciate your ideas in any or all of the construction industries.Please respond by e-mail with any amusing names, stories, jokes, and caricatures by March 26th We will assemble the submissions for each industry and notify you when voting will commence on our website. The winning submissions will receive a gift certificate for a “Happy Hour For Six” and acknowledgement on any distribution, whether electronic or otherwise.
